Mummy Of Four is my personal blog written by me, Rhiannan Morgan, the Mummy of Four. All of the views and opinions expressed in the blog are my own. I only review products that I believe may be relevant to a member of my family. I only recommend products that I use, love or have done lots of research into and intend to purchase myself.
Some of the links in this site are affiliate links and I am open to accepting sponsored posts. Here are some frequently asked questions about about any remuneration I might receive.
What are affiliate links?
Well, quite simply, if you click through the link and make a purchase, the company in question pays me a small commission. For many of the links, I will be paid a commission on any purchase you make from the site within a given time frame (usually 24 hours) whether you purchase the product that I recommend or not.
Why use affiliate links?
Having 4 children, 1 of which has additional needs, and no family support for childcare, means that returning to work for someone else will be next to impossible. Blogging means that I can share my parenting journey with other Mums and Dads while still being there to take care of my children. Affiliate links mean that while doing this, I can (hopefully) earn a small wage while doing this.
Will this cost me, the reader, anything?
No, not a penny more than if you found the site all by yourself. The commission comes directly from the company that hosts the site. In fact, these companies will often send me promotional and discount codes to share with my readers. Make sure you subscribe to my blog and / or social media to take advantage of these savings!
Do these companies tell you what to recommend?
No, absolutely not. All opinions expressed are my own.
How do you decide which products to recommend?
I only discuss products or services on my blog that I have either used personally or have researched and would like to / I tend to purchase myself. The products and service that I recommend on my blog are often things that I have been recommending to friends and family via word of mouth for years. When you have lots of children, people often come to you for advice about what to buy and use for their own children. I am now simply recommending the same things in my blog that I would recommend to friends in person.
What about sponsored posts?
I will accept products or services that have been gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.
I will accept sponsored posts if I genuinely believe that the content is relevant to my family. I will clearly indicate at the end of a post if it has been sponsored.
Even when I receive some form of remuneration for posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions.
