It’s the 6th of January, and here’s something wild I learned recently.
By 19th January, it’s what’s known as Quitters’ Day – the day most people have already given up on their New Year’s resolutions. That’s basically Christmas Day for January goals.
And if you’re anything like me, that probably doesn’t surprise you.
How many of us start January full of good intentions – healthier habits, moving our bodies more, feeling better, having more energy – and then quietly find it hard to stick to by February?
I’ll hold my hand up. I’ve done that so many times.
But the more I’ve reflected on it, the more I’ve realised this isn’t about willpower or motivation. It’s about how we build habits and routines that actually work in real life – not just in January, but in April, May, and all the other months too.
And when I say healthy routines, I’m not talking about how our bodies look.
Sometimes that’s a by-product, yes – but that’s not the point.
I’m talking about how we feel on the inside.
As mums – especially in neuro-sparkly homes where we’re often carrying more than our fair share – staying healthy isn’t a nice to have. It’s everything.
Because when we crumble, everything around us starts to wobble too.
That’s why our January workshop inside the Organised Life Club is the
Healthy & Happy Mum Routine Workshop.
This isn’t about perfection.
And it’s definitely not about bubble baths (although those can absolutely be part of it).
It’s about self-care that actually supports real life – eating well, remembering our vitamins, getting enough sleep where we can, moving our bodies gently, supporting our mental health, and setting our lives up in a way that helps us stay regulated rather than constantly overwhelmed.
Self-care isn’t selfish.
I have to remind myself of that just as much as anyone else.
It’s about taking the same care of ourselves that we take of our children.
About parenting ourselves with the same compassion, structure, and support.
The workshop is live on Wednesday 7th January at 9:30am inside the Organised Life Club.
The workbook is already available in the club, so you can download it beforehand and start gently thinking about what support would help you most right now.
If you can’t make it live, that’s completely fine – there will be a replay, and you can also listen on the secret podcast, so you can take it in while walking, driving, or just having a quiet moment to yourself.
January 2026 is the month we do this differently.
Not big, shiny New Year’s resolutions that are forgotten by February – but small, incremental changes and tiny habits that actually add up and help us feel healthier, calmer, and more supported for the long run.
I’d love to have you inside the Organised Life Club for this.
You don’t need to change everything.
You just need a place to start.

Create Your Own Mini Organised Life Binder (My Secret Weapon)
I have tried every planner and organisation system under the sun, and nothing ever really worked for me — until I created my own Organised Life Binder System. It has genuinely changed my life as a busy, ADHD mum of four.
With the binder, I can keep everything in one place — family schedules, meal plans, routines, to-dos, goals, and all those little life admin tasks that usually get lost in the chaos. It’s flexible, printable, and completely customisable, so it works whether you want to focus on daily planning, decluttering, kids’ routines, budgeting, or all of the above.
And here’s the best bit — I’ve recently started using the Mini Binder version, and I’m obsessed! It’s all the organisation power of the full binder, but in a portable A5 size that actually fits in my bag. I use it for my own planning, but also for my kids’ systems — school routines, homework checklists, weekend resets — you name it.
No matter which size you choose, the Organised Life Binder System gives you:
✔ Printable pages you can reprint and refresh whenever you need
✔ The freedom to customise sections for your family’s needs
✔ Flexibility — add, remove, or move pages as life changes
✔ A calm, clear system to get the chaos out of your head and onto paper
