My children often struggle to wind down for sleep. Even after a bath and a story and the rest of the night time routine, they can still sometimes be a little wired. When this happens (which is most nights) I put on one of these audiobooks for them. I say, “don’t go to sleep, just close your eyes and listen to the story”. Within minutes they are out like a light.

I’ll be honest, I don’t tend to use podcasts to fall asleep to personally as I stick to the audio books, but popping on your favourite podcast is an easy option too. Podcasts tend to be free, which is a huge bonus, but can often contain ads which can sometimes disrupt the flow of the relaxation.
