Before your check in window opens, it’s time to start preparing for online check-in. Here’s what you’ll need:
Travel Documents
- Passports for each traveler or birth certificates for children.
- Any necessary visas if you’re traveling to countries that require them. For USA you’ll need ESTAs.
- Clear passport style photos of each member of your party.
- Ensure that the photos of these documents are in JPEG format and saved in a convenient folder on your device or top of your camera roll
Reservation Information
- Your Disney Cruise Line reservation number.
- Names and birthdates of all travellers in your party.
Credit Card
- A valid credit card for onboard charges.
Emergency Contact Information
- Details for a person not traveling with you.
Travel Plans
- Your arrival and departure plans, including flight details if you’re using Disney’s ground transportation.
Special Requests
- Any dietary needs, medical conditions, or other special requirements.
Make sure all this information is handy. Double-check your documents to avoid any last-minute scrambles.
Castaway Club Levels and Concierge Check-In
Disney Cruise Line rewards its repeat cruisers through the Castaway Club, which has four levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Pearl.
Each level offers different benefits, including earlier access to online check-in.
Silver Castaway Club members can begin checking in 33 days before sailing,
Gold members can check in 35 days before sailing,
Platinum members can check in 38 days before sailing.
Pearl members can check in 40 days before sailing.
Additionally, guests staying in Concierge-level staterooms enjoy the earliest access, with the ability to check in at 40 days prior to their sail date, just like Platinum members. This early access allows higher-tier members and Concierge guests to secure their preferred port arrival times, onboard activities, and other reservations well before general check-in opens.
When Your Check-In Window Opens: Online Check-In Process

Step-by-Step Online Check-In Process
- Log In:
- Go to the Disney Cruise Line website and log in to your account.
- Access Reservation:
- Click on “My Reservations” and select your upcoming cruise.
- Begin Check-In:
- Click on the “Online Check-In” button to start the process.
- Personal Information:
- Enter the required personal information for each traveller.
- Travel Documents:
- Upload your travel documents. Make sure they are clear and legible.
- Payment Information:
- Provide your credit card details for onboard charges.
- Emergency Contact:
- Fill in the emergency contact information.
- Kids Club:
- Register your child’s details for kids club.
- Select who can collect your child.
- Select a password for the person collecting your child.
- Travel Plans:
- Enter your travel plans, including flight information if applicable.

- Review and Confirm:
- Double-check all your information and confirm the check-in.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Print your boarding pass and save them to your mobile device.

Start the check-in process right when your window opens to secure your preferred port arrival time and activity reservations.
Want To Avoid The Panic?
Select Disney Cruise Line transportation where available and you don’t need to select a port arrival time. You can board the ship as soon as your Disney Transportation arrives at the port.
Stable Internet Connection
Make sure you have a stable internet connection to avoid any disruptions.
Prepare in Advance
Gather all necessary documents and information the day before to speed up the process.
Set an Alarm
Don’t rely on memory; set an alarm to remind you when check-in opens.
Stay Calm
If the website is slow or crashes, stay calm. Refresh the page and try again.
