Things To Pack For A Disney Cruise

What do you need to pack for a Disney Cruise? We are heading on the Disney Magic At Sea UK Staycation this summer and these are the essentials that I will be packing. Whether you are sailing on the Disney Magic, the Disney Fantasy, The Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream or the new Disney Wish cruise ship, these are the essentials that you will need.

Documents

You will need printed versions of all of your documents. Every email that you receive to do with your trip, print out and pop into a document wallet along with your ID and vaccination records. It may also be helpful to have a digital copy of these documents stored on your phone.

Lanyards

It will be super helpful to have a lanyard when you are on board the ship to carry your key to the world card. This card will enable you to open your stateroom door and charge things to your room, so you will need it with you at all times.

Card Holders

Suitcases

The first thing that you are going to need in order to pack, is something to pack into. We have these gorgeous Disney cases which are also light and easy to manoeuvre.

Hand Luggage

You will need a hand luggage bag when you embark the ship and to carry around your bits and pieces day to day too.

Loungefly mini backpacks are the ultimate Disney bag for your cruise. Check out the selection at VeryNeko and use code mummy10 for 10% off.

Clothing

I have lots of post full of Disneybound outfit ideas, but in short you will need;

  • Day wear
  • Evening wear
  • Swim wear
  • Gym wear
  • Night wear
  • Footwear

Ears

What Disney holiday would be complete without Disney ears?

Cameras & Phones

Before your cruise, make sure that you have the means to take plenty of photographs. Check that your phone has the latest version of it’s software and plenty of available memory.

You may also want to take a separate camera too. As I use lots of cameras with additional lenses and equipment for work. I will list what I will be packing for our cruise, but you probably won’t need half of it.

Loungefly Camera Strap

In order to keep my hands free between shots, I’ll be using this beautiful Loungefly bag stop as a camera strap.

Chargers, Plus & Adapters

I went into lots more detail about the chargers, plugs and adapters that I use when we travel in this video.

Straighteners Or Curlers

There are hairdryers in the staterooms, but you may wish to take a hair straightener or curling tool.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is a cruising must! I like the 8 hour Soltan sunscreen as it offers brilliant protection for long periods.

Toiletries

The staterooms have complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, but you will need to pack;

  • Tooth brushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Make up
  • Cleansers
  • Razors

Medication

  • Pain killers
  • Sea sickness tablets
  • Plasters and first aid bits

Sea Sickness Bands

It might be a good idea to pack some sea sickness bands in case a member of your party is feeling queasy.

Door Magnets

On a Disney Cruise, you are allowed to decorate your stateroom door with magnets. I have bought these cute and inexpensive Disney emoji magnets for the job.

Water Bottles

Soft drinks around the ship are included, but it’s a good idea to take a drinks bottle to fill up.

Blankets

You may want a blanket for venturing onto the deck or verandah in the chilly evenings.

Sunglasses

Don’t forget those sunnies!
