In today’s vlog, I’m packing for not one but two very different trips happening back-to-back! First up, we’re heading off on a UK family theme park mini break with all five of us — two adults and three children — so I’m packing everything we’ll need for days out, hotel stays, and keeping the kids comfy and happy on the go.
Then, I’m switching gears to pack for my 10-year-old daughter’s four-night school residential trip. It’s her first one away from home for this long, so I’m making sure she’s got everything she needs (and maybe a few extras, because I’m that mum!).
Join me for a real-life, behind-the-scenes look at the chaos of packing for a busy family week — and hopefully pick up a few tips along the way!

Things To Keep Us Entertained While Packing
Wireless Headphones
Wireless headphones are an absolute must-have for me when I’m decluttering! They keep me motivated and in the zone without any annoying wires getting in the way. I always use one earbud at a time, then switch when the battery runs low, so I can keep going without interruptions. I have both the Apple originals and these amazing dupes, which cost a fraction of the price, come in a variety of colours, and still perform really well! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative, these are definitely worth checking out.
