What I Really Packed for My Teen’s Residential Trip – Not Just the School List!

Come along as I pack for my 13-year-old son’s school residential trip! He’s going away for two nights, and while the school provided a list, there are always a few extra things I’ve learned to include – especially as a mum of four neurodivergent children.

If your child has a school overnight trip or residential coming up, I hope this helps you feel more prepared. I’m also sharing the printable packing list I used (and swear by!), available in my shop and included for members of the Organised Life Club 💼

Things To Keep Us Entertained While Packing

Wireless Headphones

Wireless headphones are an absolute must-have for me when I’m decluttering! They keep me motivated and in the zone without any annoying wires getting in the way. I always use one earbud at a time, then switch when the battery runs low, so I can keep going without interruptions. I have both the Apple originals and these amazing dupes, which cost a fraction of the price, come in a variety of colours, and still perform really well! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative, these are definitely worth checking out.
