The Best Adult-Only Experiences on a Disney Cruise (Dream & Fantasy)

Disney cruises are truly magical for the whole family – but let’s be honest, they’re not just for kids. Whether your children are heading off to the amazing Disney Cruise Line kids clubs for a few hours or you’re travelling child-free, there are so many adult-only experiences to enjoy on board.

With the Disney Fantasy coming to the UK in summer 2025 and the Disney Dream returning in 2026, I wanted to share some of the best adult-only spaces and experiences specifically on these two ships. So, if you’re planning a magical getaway (with or without little ones), here’s everything you need to know.

Adult-Only Areas Included in Your Cruise Fare

Let’s start with what’s included in your cruise fare – because there’s a lot.

Quiet Cove Pool & Satellite Falls

Both the Disney Dream and Fantasy feature the Quiet Cove Pool, a lovely, peaceful area that’s just for adults. It’s so much more chilled than the main pool decks, with a totally different vibe. On the Disney Fantasy, you’ll also find Satellite Falls, another calm, adult-only pool area.

Quiet Cove Café

Right near the pool, you’ll also find the Quiet Cove Café. It’s a great place to grab a speciality coffee (just a heads up – drinks here are an upcharge), sit down with a book, or just enjoy a peaceful moment away from the hustle and bustle.

Gym & Fitness Centre

Both ships have a well-equipped gym and fitness centre, and using the facilities is included in your cruise fare. Whether you prefer cardio, weights, or just fancy a nose around for the views (which are amazing, especially at sea), it’s well worth a visit.

There’s also a little chill-out area nearby, perfect for winding down after your workout.

Serenity Loungers

These loungers near the adult-only pool are dreamy – super relaxing, quiet, and ideal if you’ve dropped your little ones off at the Oceaneer Club and fancy a bit of peace before picking them up.

Optional Extras for Adults

Now for the optional extras – things that cost a little bit more but are often so worth it.

Senses Spa & Rainforest Room

The Senses Spa is connected to the fitness centre and offers a range of treatments, from massages to facials. These can be booked ahead of time via the Disney Cruise Line website (based on your Castaway Club status), or you can ask about availability once on board.

You can also book access to the Rainforest Room – a tranquil thermal suite with heated loungers, steam rooms, and more. You can purchase a pass for the duration of your cruise or try your luck with a day pass if they’re available.

Fitness Classes & Personal Training

There are fitness classes on offer too – think yoga, spin, or more specialised sessions. These are an extra charge, as are one-to-one personal training sessions.

Adult-Only Lounges and Bars

Both the Dream and Fantasy have fantastic adult-only bar areas, many of which become 18+ only in the evenings. During the day, some are family-friendly, so do check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or ask a Cast Member if you’re unsure.

On the Disney Dream, some of our favourites include:

  • Pink Champagne Bar – inspired by the ‘Pink Elephants on Parade’ scene from Dumbo (we did a wine tasting here last time and it was fab!)
  • Skyline Lounge
  • Evolution
  • 687 Pub
  • The District Lounge – family-friendly during the day but adult-only at night

On the Disney Fantasy, you’ll find:

  • O’Gills Pub
  • Ooh La La
  • The Tube
  • Europa Lounge
  • La Piazza

Each has its own unique vibe, and if you’re into cocktails, wine tastings, or just enjoying a quiet drink, you’ll love these.

Wine Tastings & Drinks Seminars

Wine tastings, mixology classes, and other drinks seminars are also available to book (21+ only, as these are American ships). These often take place in the adult-only lounges and are a lovely way to enjoy a little grown-up fun on board.

Adult-Only Dining: Palo & Remy

Now let’s talk about the crown jewels of adult-only experiences: Palo and Remy.

Palo – Italian Dining at Its Finest

Palo is a stunning Italian restaurant available on both the Dream and Fantasy. You can book a brunch or dinner, but do keep in mind that dinner might clash with your rotational dining – and honestly, that’s hard to skip because it’s amazing too.

We did Palo Brunch on the Dream and it was next level. The food, the service – absolutely beautiful.

Remy – Fine French Dining

Remy is even fancier – a French fine dining experience that’s not character-themed, but very elegant. I’ve managed to secure a Remy brunch for our next Disney Fantasy cruise and I’m SO excited to share that experience soon!

What About the Kids?

You might be wondering: “What are my kids going to do while I’m enjoying all of this?”

That’s where the Disney Cruise Line kids clubs come in. They’re not just childcare – they’re next level. Truly magical spaces that your kids will be begging to go back to. Trust me, they’ll be having such an amazing time, you’ll have no guilt about sneaking off for a spa session or wine tasting.
