These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things In May 2021

These are a few of my favourite things in May 2021! I you want to know what have been my favourite fashion and beauty items. my favourite kids & family things, food or entertainment, check out the video below then read on for full details.

Fashion & Beauty

The weather in May has not been what I might have hoped for! I did my winter to spring wardrobe switch over and I think it may have been a little premature.

So sadly, I have not been wearing the summer dresses and flip flips that I hoped for. Instead I have been mostly loving jeans, short sleeved t shorts (because most of. y long sleeved ones are

Joules Jersey Blazer Jacket

One of my favourite clothing pieces this month has been my Joules jersey blazer. I bought mine a few years ago, but this is the version that they have this year.

Joules Navy Shoes

Although the weather hasn’t;t been as worm as I might have hoped, we have had a number of days where it has been dry enough to put away my boots and get out my Joules trainer pumps that I bought last year. These are super comfy and go great with a pair of jeans, a short sleeved t short and my jersey blazer.

Nivea Moisturiser

This month I’ve bene keeping my skin Carr pretty basic, but I’m loving one of my classic favourites, Nivea soft cream.

Kids & Family

When it comes to kids and family favourites, this months has been all about Disney! We have booked to go on a Disney cruise this summer and the children are so excited.

In order to share all of the Disney excitement, hauls, holiday planning and Disney Bounding, I have started a new channel – Mummy Of Four Does Disney! This allows me to geek out on all things Disney without changing the content on my main channel.

Home & Organisation

The most notable thing about “home” this month is that we have been able to leave it! Therefore my organisation items are more travel items.

Packing Cubes

If you have seen my wardrobe organisation and seasonal switch videos, you will know that I use packing cubes to store items under my ottoman bed. Well, this month, I have been able to use packing cubes for the purpose for which they wee intended – packing to go away!

Suitcases

I realised that was we will be going away (now that it’s finally allowed) we will need suitcases. Here are the ones I bought and I love them.

Food & Drink

Lots of my food and drink favourites this month have remained the same.

Burst Drink

I’m still loving multivitamin Burst drinks, with caffeine in the morning and the caffeine free mocktails in the evening. If you fancy giving them a go, use code MOF35 for 35% off at the checkout.

Fry’s Bars

I’m still also obsessed with the Fry’s chocolate cream bars, specifically the orange and raspberry flavours.

If I’m honest, my favourite thing about food and drink this month has been eating out! We went on a blissful staycation to the Celtic Manor and had some beautiful meals. Check out the vlog below.

Entertainment

TV

Here’s what I have been loving on TV in May 2021.

Enchanted

How did I make it until 2021 without seeing Enchanted? With the news of the sequel, “Disenchanted” going into production, we finally watched the original. I am pleased to report that the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it.

Once Upon A Time

It made it into my April favourites, now it’s still in my May favourites, simply because we have not made it though all of the episodes yet.

Grey’s Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy is one of my favourite shows (if not the favourite) of all time. This month I have been rewatching the series on Disney Plus.

Books

If, like me, you struggle to make enough time to sit down and read, audio books might be the answer. I love popping in a wireless headphone (I use just one at a time so that I can swap them out as they go flat) to listen to an audio book as I walk, cook or clean.

Use the link below to get a 30 day free trial and one free audio book on Audible. The best bit? Even if you decide to cancel, you can keep that free audio book forever.

Year Of Yes

I’ve listened to it before and I relistened in May. The Year Of Yes by Shonda Rhimes is funny and entertaining and so inspiring.

Bridgerton 2

I’ve been reading (albeit very slowly) the second book in the Bridgerton series in anticipation of season 2 of the Netflix hit show.
