Christmas is nearly here and I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you one of my favourite online retailers. Although they traditionally sell “girly” products, this year they have brought our lots of lovely personalised gifts, suitable for both little boys, little girls and teenagers too.
I discovered this lovely little company called Candy Bows around Bella’s 1st birthday. I was looking for pretty hairbands to keep her ever growing locks out of her eyes. I discovered their selection of bow hairbands and was pleased to find that they made them in a huge variety of colours.
I loved these gorgeous bands so much, I bought them in every colour of the rainbow to coordinate with her various outfits. Bella loved them and they quickly became her “signature” hairband. Very early on, she would ask for a hairband as soon as she woke in the morning. I always wonder if it’s to keep her hair out of her eyes or if she’s just so used to wearing them that her head feels odd woithout one.
Soon, I was pleased to find that they sold lots more than just bows. I discovered something that would become another of Bella’s wardrobe favoutites – beautiful pettiskirts.
Bella loves dressing up in her pettiskirts for ballet classes, parties and other special occasions. She also loves teaming them with her wellies (her footwear of choice, she has them in a rainbow of colours) and wearing them for all sorts of activities, including joining in with her big brother’s rugby class.
So, you can imagine Bella’s delight a box of goodies to dress up in for the festive season arrived from Candy Bows.
The girls have had such fun dressing in all of their Christmas outfits this December. I must admit, I have enjoyed it just a little too. I am glad I will have these beautiful images of them in their first and last December that they will spend every day together. It’s hard to believe that this time last year, Zara was just a bump. It’s even harder to believe that in a few short weeks Bella is starting school!
Not only were the girls spoiled with their gorgeous outfits, but the boys were pleased with their gifts too.
Dylan’s emoji cushion was so nice that I’ve since ordered some more for children of some friends.
So if you are looking for some hairbands, clothing for little girls, or personalised gifts for little boys or girls, check out the Candy Bows website here. They are a fantastic independent company that not only offer lovely quality products, but have always been very helpful with questions and advice too.

Disclosure – I have been a loyal customer of Candy Bows for a number of years and have been sharing picture of my girls wearing their pettiskirts on social media even before I began blogging. I approached Candy Bows and asked if they would like to work with me. They sent me a lovely box of beautiful things, some of which I have mentioned in this post. Some of the items that I mentioned I have purchased myself, either myself or for gifts for friends and family.
