What Is Included in Your Cruise Fare?
Most dining on a Disney Cruise is included in the price of your cruise. This includes rotational dining, where guests cycle through the ship’s three main dining rooms with their dedicated serving team. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend watching my in-depth rotational dining video, as well as my guide covering room service, quick-service options, and more.
Adult-Only Dining: Palo & Remy
For guests aged 18 and over, Palo and Remy offer elevated dining experiences at an additional cost. These experiences require advanced reservations, and availability can be limited.
Palo: Northern Italian Elegance
Palo is an upscale Italian restaurant with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, offering stunning ocean views and Venetian-inspired decor. It is available for brunch and dinner.
Brunch at Palo
Palo brunch is one of the most popular adult dining experiences on Disney Cruise Line. The menu features an à la carte selection, including:
- Fresh seafood
- Pastries
- Italian-inspired dishes
- The famous Palo chocolate soufflé

Dinner at Palo
For dinner, Palo offers elevated Italian cuisine, including:
- High-quality steaks
- Handmade pasta
- Fresh seafood

Dress Code
The dress code is smart casual, though more relaxed than Remy.

Pricing
- Brunch: Around $50 per person
- Dinner: Around $50 per person (Prix fixe, excludes alcohol)
Is Palo Worth It?
On our last Disney Cruise (our fourth overall), we decided to try Palo for the first time, opting for brunch instead of dinner. Since rotational dining is such a fantastic experience, I didn’t want to miss out on it with my children. The food at Palo was exquisite. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable, and while all cast members on a Disney Cruise are amazing, this did feel like an elevated experience.
Brunch at Palo is all-you-care-to-enjoy for a set price, meaning you can try as many dishes as you like. I genuinely ate more in that one meal than I would in a week at home!
Would I recommend Palo brunch? Absolutely. It was 100% worth the extra cost, and I would choose it again over other experiences like wine tastings (which are also priced around $50 per person). If I were on a longer cruise, I might consider dinner at Palo, but for a short cruise, I wouldn’t want to miss out on rotational dining.
Remy: Luxury French Dining

Remy is a fine-dining French restaurant inspired by Ratatouille but not character-themed. Located next to Palo, Remy is designed for serious food lovers, offering a Michelin-star-level experience.
What Does Remy Offer?
- Dinner: Multi-course, luxury dining experience.
- Brunch: High-end French delicacies with champagne pairings.
- Dessert Experience: Multi-course dessert tasting with wine pairings.
- Wine Pairing Dinner: A sommelier-led tasting menu.

Dress Code
Remy has a strict formal dress code, requiring jackets for men and elegant attire for women.

Pricing
- Brunch: Around $80 per person
- Dinner: Starts at $135 per person (excluding wine pairings)
- Dessert Experience: $60 per person
- Wine Pairing Dinner: $230 per person
Is Remy Worth It?
I haven’t dined at Remy yet, but I’m tempted to try it purely for market research! However, I suspect I’ll prefer Palo, simply because I prefer Italian over French cuisine. I’d love to hear from those who have tried both—which one did you prefer? Let me know in the comments.
How to Book Adult Dining on a Disney Cruise
Reservations for Palo and Remy open based on your Castaway Club status. The Castaway Club is Disney Cruise Line’s loyalty programme, and the more you sail, the earlier you can book.
- Concierge & Platinum guests get first access
- Gold members book next
- Silver members (like us on our last cruise) get access later
- First-time cruisers book last
For our next cruise, we will still be Silver Castaway Club members, but once we complete our sailing, we will become Gold.
Booking Tips
- The best time to book is at 5:00 AM UK time (midnight Florida time) on the day your booking window opens.
- Use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or the website.
- If reservations are full, visit Guest Services onboard to join the waitlist.
- Palo brunch sells out fast—be ready!
Is Adult-Exclusive Dining Worth It?
If it’s your first Disney Cruise, I wouldn’t worry too much about Palo or Remy. There is so much already included, and you won’t get to experience everything onboard anyway.
However, if you’re on a longer cruise, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a unique dining experience, Palo is definitely worth it. As for Remy? I’ll report back after I try it!
